Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How will I receive money from the card payment acceptances?
KTC will transfer money to your business’s bank account (Krung Thai Bank Account). The system automatically calculates sales revenue at 21.00 daily including holidays and transfers money to your bank account on the same day. (Excluding transactions from ALIPAY paid through EDC devices)
How can I check the transaction amounts from card payments and bank transfers?
You can check the transaction report daily using KTC Online service on our website www.ktc.co.th/online and receive a tax invoice on the next day.
(You can view reports from the last 30 days.)
Can my business participate in KTC FOREVER point redemptions or installment payments?
Yes, once you apply for KTC MERCHANT service.
When can I destroy sales slips?
You need to keep sales slips with customers’ signatures for 180 days as evidences of product and service purchases.
Can I cancel a transaction in the case that my customer has paid by card and requested to cancel the payment?
Yes, you can cancel the transaction on the same day before the system calculates sales revenue from credit/debit cards at 21.00
and from ALIPAY at 23.00.
What can I do if I want to open a new branch?
You can contact KTC MERCHANT service at telephone no. 02 123 5700 press 0, 24 hours every day.
How do you calculate the card payment acceptance fee?
Example of the fee calculation (in case of full payment)
Product price 10,000 baht
MDR fee rate 2% = 200 baht
7% vat of MDR = 14 baht
KTC will transfer money to your bank account = 10,000 - (200 + 14)
  = 9,786 baht
