KTC or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited is reinforcing its leadership in digital finance by launching an online self-application service for its credit cards and the KTC PROUD Cash Card. This initiative addresses the new generation’s demand for fast, secure, and convenient financial solutions. As highlighted by the Bank of Thailand’s ‘The Way We Pay 2023’ report, Thais increasingly favor digital transactions for their safety and ease. KTC’s new service allows consumers to apply online with confidence, ensuring secure data handling without the need to submit documents through third parties.
Miss Sirikalya Suthanyaphruet, Head of Online Acquisition & Performance Media Division at ‘KTC’, noted that since the launch of the‘Apply Online Service’forKTC DIGITAL credit cardsin January 2024, the service continues to gain popularity, especially among users aged 20-35. To meet the needs of time-conscious consumers, KTC has expanded this service toall its credit cardsand theKTC PROUD Cash Card, allowing users to apply 24/7 and receive approval within the next business day. The process is fully digital, reducing the need for travel and enhancing security through document uploads and identity verification via the Krungthai NEXT app or other bank apps using National Digital ID (NDID).
Thisonline servicealso aligns with KTC’s commitment to sustainability, supporting Thailand’s goal of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by minimizing carbon footprints through reduced travel and paper use.
For theKTC PROUD Cash Card, approval can be granted within 30 minutes during specified hours. For those in urgent need of funds, the KTC PROUD Cash Card ensures uninterrupted spending, with online applications getting approval in as fast as 30 minutes, provided the application is submitted between 8:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and the first cash withdrawal is made.
