Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC) has continued to strengthen its Health & Wellness strategy through a collaboration with Silver Run Club, hosting the activity “KTC x Silver Run Club: Recharge the Mind, Run Further—Together.” The initiative invited KTC members aged 40 and above from “KTC Sports: The Real Sports Community” to take part in a fitness experience tailored to the physical condition and lifestyle of today’s active adults. The program reflects a growing shift among urban consumers toward preventive health, active aging, and community-based well-being rather than fitness driven by competition.

Designed around sustainable movement rather than intensity, the activity featured a relaxed run–walk session covering 3.5 kilometers, complemented by professional stretching led by physiotherapists. Participants also joined Brain Fit and Fast Track sessions that help stimulate cognitive function and support the nervous system. Held at Intharachantr Sathit Stadium, Kasetsart University (Bangkhen Campus), the event attracted strong participation from members seeking an accessible form of exercise that supports both physical and mental health, underscoring rising demand for low-impact, holistic wellness activities among Thailand’s silver generation.

Mr. Chanon Amornchaisakda, CEO of OLDK, a home-based physical therapy booking platform, and co-founder of Silver Run Club, said “The club was established to create an inclusive wellness space for older adults and families by partnering with JoyRide. Rather than emphasizing speed or competition, the club focuses on continuity, safety, and emotional connection. Running should be viewed not as an end goal, but as a tool for enhancing quality of life and building new social ecosystems for people who want to care for their health sustainably as they age. The collaboration with KTC helps extend the concept of running beyond exercise to fostering friendships and stronger community bonds.”

Ms. Sireerat Corvanich, Head of Credit Card Marketing Division at Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC), said “National health data continues to show that many Thais do not meet recommended levels of physical activity, increasing the risk of chronic diseases, while recent statistics point to rising health awareness in urban areas. From KTC’s perspective as a financial institution closely connected to consumer behavior, health is increasingly viewed not as an expense but as a long-term investment. KTC has expanded sports and wellness privileges alongside building communities such as “KTC Sports: The Real Sports Community,” under the concept “KTC Wellness: The Journey to Well-being – A better life starts every day,” reflecting its evolving role from a provider of privileges to an enabler of healthier lifestyles across physical, mental, and social dimensions.
