KTC Transforms Old Calendars into Braille Materials as Part of the “Give New Life to Old Calendars” Project.

The initiative involved collecting unused desk calendars through donations from executives and fellow employees and forwarding them to the Educational Technology Center for the Blind, under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen. The donated materials will be transformed into Braille-printed educational materials for individuals with visual impairments.Mrs. Chanidapa Petcharak(right)Director of the Center for Educational Technology for the Blind,recently received the donated items at the Educational Technology Center for the Blind in Pak Kret.

The Educational Technology for the Blind Center still accepts unused desk calendars, notebooks (diaries), and various types of books that are no longer used. The items collected will be sold, and the proceeds generated will be maximized to support the operations of the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand.
