Miss Piyasuda Kwaennonsee(center), Head of Human Resources, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited,organized the"Print & Prove" project dedicated to visually impaired children.KTC gathered over 50 volunteer executives and staff to collaborate in publishing and reviewing textbooks used by sighted children in classrooms and to deliver these adapted materials to visually impaired students studying at the secondary school level through the Educational Technology Center for the Blind, under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen.
KTC received the original textbooks for visually impaired students from the Educational Technology Center for the Blind. Dedicated KTC volunteers assisted in the printing process, ensuring the accuracy of the letter format to align with the original textbooks. These finalized versions were then transformed into Microsoft Word files in plain text format. After printing and thoroughly reviewing all volumes, the files were collected and sent back to the center. The files will be imported into the "Screen Reader" program, converting the characters from Microsoft Word files into audio formats. This initiative aims to provide visually impaired children access to subjects, allowing them to study on equal terms with their sighted counterparts.
