Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital was established in 1989. There are more over 4,500 patients to be in service daily and has been increased rapidly which most of them are suffering from multifactorial diseases (Tertiary care). However, the service area has become crowded, insufficient of waiting and screening area must be concerned. Expansion is one of the solutions to serve all the patients and people in need Therefore, The Board of Director of Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital has decided to launch a project of The Extended OPD building (The Out - Patient Department) construction to improve all the problems. The Project is surrounded by hospital buildings and design to connect to the conserved OPD building (also known as POR POR ROR building) for more convenient.
The Extended OPD project is a 15-storey building includes 4 basement floors with the 50,000 square meters spaces. The building comes with eco-friendly and functional designed concept including excellent medical services such as triage and emergency assessment, telemedicine service. This Project is strongly contributed to physical environment and technology supportive as the concept “convenience, speed, cost-effectiveness and sustainability”.
