The Cardiac Children Foundation Thailand was established in 1981 with the aim of helping impoverished children with heart disease in remote areas. Since 2002, the Foundation has established an off-hours surgery project that has been able to help more than 14,500 congenital heart disease patients to date. The cost of each project is 35,000 baht or more per person and many more heart disease patients are waiting for timely treatment.
