The Mirror Foundation is a social development organization dedicated to improving society across various fields. Their work encompasses human rights, media and information technology, volunteer development, and resource sharing—all aimed at enhancing people's capacity to learn and live effectively. Operating across online platforms, urban areas, and rural communities, the foundation acts as a "mirror" that reflects societal realities. They provide support to those affected by social changes through a core philosophy of empowering people, driving innovation, and creating meaningful social change, as articulated in their organizational vision:
"Human Capital Development" – We cultivate social activists through volunteering processes to engage them in social activities. Current social problems are highly intricate and excessive in volume, making them too heavy a burden for a small group of individuals to bear. Moreover, social issues cannot be eradicated if the majority of the population does not collectively acknowledge and address them. Human development is thus the origin of social problem-solving."Innovation Creation" – Innovation leads to new directions for society. Consequently, we generate innovations to analyze issues and design collaborative problem-solving processes that correspond with contemporary social phenomena."Driving Social Change" – Upon developing activists and social innovations, social transformation—the ultimate objective of our operations—will commence. Activists with aligned mindsets committed to resolving social issues will serve as the gears driving society, utilizing innovation to propel social development forward. We therefore place great emphasis on public campaigning and direct problem management. As each problematic phenomenon continuously impacts others, we adopt a holistic approach to address multiple issues concurrently. We employ information technology as an instrument to access the public and disseminate our operational methodologies, in parallel with on-site operations to resolve social issues. Presently, our operational areas comprise The Mirror Foundation Chiang Rai Office and Bangkok Office, representing each progressive step of growth achieved to this day.
