Promotion for KTC JCB credit card at public transportation in Japan

1. Only contactless fare payments with JCB cards are accepted.

2. This privilege is reserved for all types of JCB credit cards, except AEON JCB cards, Card X JCB cards , and JCB cards issued in Russia, Myanmar, China, and India.
3. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions (unless specifically authorized by JCB or the merchant).
4. Cashback is calculated based on net spending, which may include taxes and after deducting discounts from other special offers.
5. The promotion for receiving cash back will be counted based on the day of spending. However, in the event that the transaction processing is delayed due to reasons beyond the company's control, causing the company to not receive information within the specified processing period, cash back will not be received.
6. Cash back will be refunded through the card issuer. The time it takes to receive the cash back depends on the card issuer.
7. Cashback will be received as an integer amount with no more than two decimal digits.
8. The exchange rate used on the date the spending is recorded and the exchange rate on the date the cash back transaction is submitted may differ.
9. The following spending amounts are not included in the cash back credit:
   - The product or service has been changed, cancelled, refunded, or if it is considered fraudulent use.
   - The card is cancelled or the account status is unusable within the date of receiving the cash back.
   - Card membership status was incorrect at the time of cash back credit.
   - There is a change in the credit card number due to card renewal or issuance of a new card before the date of sending the cash back.
   - Card members are unable to make payment via card within the promotion period due to system failure or other reasons.
10. Payments are made through a third party rather than directly at participating merchants.
11. The duration of the privilege and the contents stated in this privilege are based on the situation at the time the privilege is effective and are subject to change due to necessity beyond the control of the Company.
12. JCB 's decision shall be final.   

General Terms and Conditions

1. The privileges under this promotion cannot be exchanged, changed to cash, or transferred to any other party.
2. KTC reserves the right to offer the privileges under this promotion to only cardmembers with normal account status and have no record of default or overdue payment throughout the promotion period until the day on which the privileges are granted to the cardmembers, in accordance with KTC’s existing record.
3. KTC reserves the right to offer, cancel, revoke or recall any privileges under this promotion, wholly or partially, including the claim of compensation for damages (if any) if fraudulent activities are committed in order to receive the privileges under this promotion, or if the card is used for any commercial purpose, in breaching of determined conditions, or for any non-consumption purpose, or when the transaction is cancelled after KTC granted the privileges under this promotion to the cardmembers.
4. KTC reserves the right to exclude interest, fine and any other fees and charges, refunds from cancellation of goods/services purchase and any refund at all from the calculation of privileges offering to cardmembers under this promotion.
5. Other terms and conditions which are not specified herein shall be provided by any relevant store/seller/service provider. Please inquire for details of conditions before purchasing goods/services.
