KTC organized the 4th generation of the KTC COOP (KTC Cooperative Program), aimed at providing students with practical experience in the financial business. Additionally, KTC arranged activities designed to enhance students' competency skills throughout the project.

Miss Piyasuda Kwaennonsee, Head of Human Resources, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, stated, “The KTC COOP (KTC Cooperative Program) is a collaborative initiative where KTC partners with education programs at various universities. This project offers students from diverse fields of study the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside financial business professionals. Launched in 2023, the KTC COOP project is now in its 4th generation and has received positive feedback from participating students from leading universities nationwide. Both the Thai and international sections have seen participation from over 100 individuals, engaging in internships across various departments such as Credit Card Marketing, Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance and Investor Relations (Treasury), Customer Service, as well as Public and Corporate Affairs.”

“In addition to providing real-world work opportunities for students in the KTC COOP project to enhance their experience, KTC is also committed to preparing the next generation for the workforce. This is achieved through the organization of training courses and various activities aimed at bolstering competency skills (Soft Skills), including engaging discussions with the marketing department to deepen understanding of the organization's products and services, DISC training courses to enhance comprehension of behavior and personality, and Growth Mindset training sessions to foster great perspective in work. Moreover, interns are equipped with knowledge about financial planning and empowered to set financial goals. They are also given the chance to showcase their creative talents through contests producing short clips for distribution via the TikTok platform, enabling them to create meaningful and impactful content. Additionally, KTC conducts training courses focused on techniques for preparing for job interviews to prepare students for the transition into the professional realm post-project. Emphasizing the creation of a positive working atmosphere and environment, KTC allocates time for interns to engage in discussions and seek guidance during their internships, facilitating their adjustment to the organization's culture and effective collaboration with others. Furthermore, structured work plans are provided to guide interns toward professional advancement.”

“KTC remains dedicated to the ongoing development of its internal personnel across all job functions. This commitment extends to enhancing skills, knowledge, and job-related abilities (Hard Skills), as well as fostering essential skills that facilitate effective collaboration (Soft Skills). By prioritizing continuous learning and development, KTC reinforces its identity as a learning organization that values sustainable growth and development processes.”

The KTC COOP project offers internship opportunities to students in three periods: the first semester, final semester, and summer semester. The internship program is now entering its 5th generation, providing students the chance to apply for summer internships during the months May – August 2024.
