
KTC Partners with Krungthai Bank to Advance Financial Literacy Among University Students
Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC) joined hands with Krungthai Bank to strengthen financial literacy among university students through the inaugural online seminar under the “Krungthai Loves Smart University” project, to provide practical knowledge on using credit cards responsibly and effectively. The seminar, titled “Credit Cards: How They Work and Ways to Maximize Benefits”, attracted students from various universities.
Ms. Piyasuda Kwaennonsee, Head of Human Resources at KTC, emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainable operations by promoting responsible financial practices and expanding access to knowledge for young people. “KTC believes that instilling financial discipline today lays the foundation for a stable and secure financial future,” she said.
The seminar also featured Mrs. Kanokarn Naewwong, Sales Trainer Manager at KTC, as the guest speaker. She shared practical guidance on using credit cards responsibly, selecting the right card, maintaining healthy payment habits, and understanding credit information from the National Credit Bureau (NCB). The session highlighted the importance of good credit standing as a safeguard for long-term financial well-being.
The “Krungthai Loves Smart University” project will run throughout 2025, expanding financial learning opportunities for students nationwide. This collaboration between Krungthai Bank and KTC reinforces both organizations’ shared commitment to equipping the next generation with essential financial knowledge.
