Ms. Rueankeaw Kasemsavatsri, Head of Auto Loan at Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC), stated, “In 2025, the economy remains sluggish, a slowdown from the previous year, which may affect financial institutions' lending decisions. However, our 'KTC P BERM Car for Cash' portfolio has grown since last year, driven by a quality-focused strategy, from member screening to comprehensive debt management throughout the KTC membership. Regarding the business strategy for ‘KTC P BERM Car for Cash’ in 2025, we aim for 3 billion baht in new loans, expanding through various channels to reach salaried employees and small business owners with cars or motorcycles who need funding for business expansion, side ventures, or cash flow. Customers benefit from fast and secure access to financing. The service is backed by internationally recognized data protection standards ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27701:2019. KTC P BERM Car for Cash offers up to 100% of the appraised value, with fast approval within 1 hour, instant disbursement, and no guarantor required.”
“This partnership with Thailand Post is a key strategy to reach our target customers, leveraging its extensive network and familiar service locations, especially among online sellers. The ‘KTC P BERM Car for Cash’ loan application service at Thailand Post offices is designed for convenience, catering to those who visit the post office and may need funding to grow their business. Trained postal officers provide loan consultations, explain product details, and assist with applications on the spot. Initially, the service will be available at 45 Thailand Post offices in metropolitan areas.”
Dr. Waraporn Kongkiewphan, Chief Corporate Strategy Officer at Thailand Post, stated, “Thailand Post has been collaborating with KTC on various services, including invoice delivery, contract document management, and identity verification (e-KYC). Today, Thailand Post and KTC have expanded their collaboration to connect customers with ‘KTC P BERM Car for Cash’, targeting owners of large cars or motorcycles with full ownership of their registration book. The service operates in 2 ways: 1. Customers express interest and leave their details with Thailand Post, and KTC follows up, and 2. Trained postal officers handle loan applications and approvals in real time.”
“Thailand Post, as a leading state enterprise in communications and logistics, operates an extensive nationwide network, making it a key channel to reach underserved and unserved individuals seeking financial access. With skilled postal employees continuously developing new capabilities, Thailand Post is committed to supporting customers in expanding their businesses and improving their lives through reliable financial solutions. In collaboration with KTC, we are introducing the ‘KTC P BERM Car for Cash’ loan service, enabling our employees to connect interested individuals and partners from the logistics, retail, and financial sectors. This initiative is also integrated with our CRM platforms, including POST Family and THP Contact Center.”
“The pilot phase with KTC covers end-to-end loan approval service, starting from loan offering to loan approval and instant disbursement. Trained postal officers under the Employee Program will guide applicants through the process, helping them select suitable loan amounts and ensuring smooth approvals. This in turn, will help develop skills and empower postal officers to effectively reach target customer groups across various pilot provinces. Initially, the service will be available at 45 Thailand Post offices across 5 pilot provinces: Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon and Nakhon Pathom. Customers can also apply online via Thailand Post’s website, social media, or the Wallet@Post app. If the response is positive, the service may expand to other provinces in need of financial access.”
Ms. Rueankeaw added, “In the future, 'KTC P BERM Car for Cash' aims to expand its partner network to better reach target groups, similar to today’s collaboration with Thailand Post. We will also develop additional privileges for ‘KTC P BERM Car for Cash’ loan members, enhancing the value of the service. This aligns with KTC’s goal of making access to funding easy, convenient, and fast, offering an alternative for determined individuals to build on their success and grow their businesses.”
